NAI Mediation Rules Launch Event | 30 June 2026

The Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI) invites you to the launch event of the NAI Mediation Rules.

About the event

With these new rules, NAI expands its dispute resolution offering and provides parties, counsel and neutrals with a clear procedural framework for mediation. The event will explore the role of mediation in commercial disputes, the interaction between mediation and arbitration, and the practical choices parties face when designing an effective dispute resolution process.

The programme brings together experienced practitioners from the Netherlands and abroad. Through three panel discussions, speakers will address both strategic and practical questions: when does “mediation first” add value, how active should a mediator be, and how can mediation be combined with arbitration and binding advice?
